Rolex Airking 14010M
Original Box & Papers and swing tag
Papers dated 2004 on a Y serial number.
The Rolex Air-King has possibly the most interesting history of all the brand's watches. It was released during World War II, and was one of multiple "Air" models designed to as gifts for British RAF pilots who had taken part in the Battle of Britain. The Air-Lion, Air-Giant, and Air-Tiger, were all discontinued, but the Air-King lived on. The three-piece link Oyster bracelet has a Fliplock clasp and a brushed finish. While it may have been designed for those in the air, its waterproof screw-down crown makes it suitable for all adventurers.
